Prostate adenoma. Resource approach to management.
Adenoma - ageing consequence
By the age of seventy eighty per cent of all men in the world suffer from BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia). Some people discover the first symptoms as early as at the age of forty and the number of those contracting the disease grows proportionally with age. It seems adenoma is a part of ageing. The changes we experience in our body while growing older reveal themselves in the deficit of utilization resource of damaged cells accumulated in a particular area, and general hormonal imbalance of the organism.
A large number of remaining “building” proteins and restructuring of a person’s hormonal background lead to the overgrowth of the prostate while lack of “building” proteins would prevent the adenoma from growing. It is common knowledge that building proteins can be removed from the body only with the flow of lymph. Therefore, we need to increase the flow of lymph in order to slow down the growth of adenoma.
YOU CAN HELP YOUR BODY!
The intensity of the flow of lymph is determined by the level of biological microvibrations which are provoked by the contraction of muscle cells located in the bladder, rectum and other tissues which surround the prostate. With age the contractive activity of muscle cells decreases resulting in the deficit of biological microvibrations. Such factors as kidney malfunction, constipation, spinal diseases, irregular sexual life and chronic fatigue also contribute to the deficit of biological microvibrations.
As far as in 1994 the Ministry of Health recommended for the production and usage in medical practice certain devices for treatment by means of microvibrations. Devices allow to compensate entirely the deficiency of biological microvibrations in organism tissues. The ability of these devices to improve the flow of lymph and to reduce edema drew the attention of urologists. The first medical research was conducted in the I.I.Mechnikov Medical Academy at the Department of urology in 1998. The scientific report which followed stated the cessation of growth of adenoma, reduction of the amount of residual urine in the bladder and improvement of the urine stream. The study was carried out with the medical device ‘VITAPHONE’
The results of the study allowed to prove the beneficial effect of microvibrations on the clinical symptoms especially on the irritative symptoms caused by BPH. The character of the changes of clinical symptoms and objective indicators, which characterise the process of urination, under the influence of this factor can be compared to the influence of a1-blocker of cardura and exceeds its effect in the indicator of the reduction of residual urine. These characteristics of the influence of microvibration remained valid for the patients who underwent transurethral resection.
During the last ten years we consulted 2764 people with urological pathologies, 2487 of whom diagnosed BPH and the remaining 277 had different urological diseases.
Taking into account medical indications and contraindications to vibroacoustic therapy they were advised to use VITAPHONE. The next visit of the patients with BPH to the medical centre revealed positive effect of various degrees while no aggravation was registered. The number of night urinations and the amount of residual urine were reduced and the irritative symptoms softened.
Based on these data we can come to the conclusion that it is appropriate to use microvibration in the comprehensive treatment of patients with prostate adenoma. One of the advantages of vibroacoustic therapy is its cheapness in comparison with medication treatment (e.g. using cardura). There is no reliable data which proves there are changes of the size of the prostate under the influence of either microvibration or cardura. The effect of vibroacoustic therapy on urination lasts for the following 3-6 months. Microvibration therapy after transurethral resection relieves the irritative symptoms in the postoperative period.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Question: Which is better: removal of adenoma or its therapy?
Answer: If it is possible to do without an operation, it would be better to avoid it. An operation poses a risk of complications. After the operation one can still suffer from frequent urinations, residual urine in the bladder, sometimes even enuresis, strictures. The operation must be performed in the emergency case – considerable and constant increase of the amount of urine, expansion of the bladder and upper urinary tract and in case there are complications, such as stones in the bladder.
Unfortunately, sometimes operation is impossible for the elderly people due to serious accompanying diseases, such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, blood stroke etc. In this case vibroacoustic therapy and medication treatment are the only options.
Question: Can I lead sexual life till the age of 60 having adenoma, if I undertake systematic treatment?
Answer: Certainly. Perhaps, even longer.
Question: If nothing helps, next year I will go to Moscow. How do they treat adenoma and how much the treatment will cost in Moscow clinics? Is there any difference from the treatment in the local hospital where I get it free? I spare no money for my health and would only like to know if it is worth it?
Answer: Adenoma is treated in hospital only in case of an operation. In other cases outpatient treatment is prescribed.
Question: Could the urologist make a mistake diagnosing adenoma? What tests should I have done to confirm the diagnosis?
Answer: A mistake in the diagnosis is highly possible on the first stages of the disease. You can consult another doctor.
Question: What causes residual urine in the bladder? Is it due to the pressure of the prostate or constriction in the urethra? Maybe the problem is caused by cystitis or the bladder and kidney malfunction?
Answer: The reason could be weakness of the bladder muscles or a growing adenoma which squeezes the urethra and urination requires more effort from the bladder.
Question: I always wake up once or twice during the night to go to the toilet. But if I drink alcohol in the evening (very seldom), I don’t wake up at all. I’d like to know why?
Answer: It appears alcohol blocks something. Alcohol is a muscle resource. It disintegrates into glycogen and oxygen. Additional muscle resource helps the muscle sphincter work better, makes it easier for the bladder to create the necessary amount of microvibration which consequently reduces the edema and temporarily brings certain functions to normal levels. Such reaction to alcohol and such small number of night urinations prove that you have a marginal resource problem and your reaction to vibroacoustic therapy is bound to be extremely positive.
Question: Is adenoma at the age of forty a rare case?
Answer: Nowadays it happens more and more often.
Question: How often does adenoma grows into cancer?
Answer: Adenoma and cancer are two different diseases which develop in different places. Adenoma is a growth near the urethral glands. Prostate cancer is a tumor in the prostate. Today it is also possible to cure prostate cancer.
Question: Is it true that usage of the medical device VITAPHONE in the therapy of prostatitis can lead to the cancer of adenoma due to the increase of the capillary blood flow?
Answer: Firstly, the increase of the capillary blood flow can’t lead to the development of a tumor. If it were true, it would make the usage of all kinds of medicines which improve blood supply impossible. A tumor appears in the place where the organism can’t control the concentration of building proteins in tissues (i.e. can’t control the oncotic pressure). Secondly, microvibration is the organism’s own energy. Microvibration mainly affects the blood vessels which have venous and lymphatic valves and facilitates the output of dead cells and building cells from the pathology area. As a result, even if a tumor already exists it is deprived of building cells and its growth stops. In the period of fifteen years (more than two million users) not a single case of cancer has been registered in the area of regular application of the VITAPHONE device! The years of research in the Military Medical Academy proved that treatment of adenoma with VITAPHONE stops the growth of the tumor! Moreover, the urologists who are aware of the results now recommend that the procedures shouldn’t be interrupted for more than three months, and an ideal solution would be not to make intervals at all or for one day at the most. It has been proved that microvibration is the only energy with the help of which the organism gets rid of the excess of building cells in tissues and, therefore, controls the process of their growth or atrophy. Microvibration cannot be excessive. It is important for the organism to gain it gradually so that the body didn’t react exuberantly to the new resources.
Question: Which model is better for the treatment of adenoma?
Answer: It is better to use those models which were used in the process of research and medical surveillance. While being very similar the devices of different manufacturers can have differences in parameters. You shouldn’t forget about counterfeit devices, either.
Methodology of the usage
Long practice in the treatment of adenoma convincingly demonstrates that VITAPHONE therapy should be performed without intervals. The human body needs microvibrations constantly like food or water. The procedure of microvibration deficiency compensation is called Vibrosoundtouch. What also matters is the number of procedures during a day. It is desirable to perform at least two – one in the morning and one in the evening. One of the procedures can be shorter but there must be two of them. It is also advisable to combine the general resource support of the body and treatment of adenoma:
Vibrosoundtouch (see General Resource Support of the Body) is first performed in the area of kidneys and the liver, and then kidneys and the prostate.
Vibrosoundtouch is performed in the E3 and E4 zones simultaneously. Two twin vibrophones are used.
A one-day break per week is possible but is not obligatory.
It is very important to find time for the procedures. For those out of work it is not a problem. For those who work we recommend the following schedule of vibrosoundtouch procedures:either just before going to bed, or after 6-8 hours of sleep or just before leaving home for work.
